Hello Church Family,

    I’m glad that I can share my heart with you in this newsletter since I haven’t been able to for the last few weeks. I would like to thank you for the visits, the phone calls, your kind letters, and your faithfulness in praying for me during my extended illness. God has used all of these things to be a great blessing and encouragement to me during this time.

   Make no mistake that it was God that brought me through this difficult time. I’m thankful for medicines, doctors, and medical professionals, but I’m most thankful for the Lord’s mighty touch. If it wasn’t for God’s power and your prayers, I wouldn’t have made it this far. I’m reminded of those precious words by Rev. John Newton; “His grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.”

   In closing, allow yourself to experience the awesome presence of God. Enjoy God by learning to live one day at a time. Don’t get ahead of Him with what you want. Accept His provision, long for His peace, and yearn for His power to work through you in the daily challenges we face.

   Live your life for Christ. That is life to the fullest, and you can experience it!
